Reversible Tray Table

A stackable and collapsable compact tray table designed by Norwegian Hermann Bongaard for PLUS (Fredrikstad, Norway) in 1962. The unit features a reversible enamel on steel top manufactured by Catherineholm and was available in a variety of solid colors as well as a modernist patterned top, all surrounded by a solid teak, finger jointed frame. Its chrome plated steel base consists of four separate pieces (2+2) which connect tightly together without the use of tools and collapses to a size such that the four support pieces fit flat within its teak frame making it quite compact for storage/shipping should one so desire.
